Our Vocational Training Program provides work and vocational training to individuals looking for community integrated employment. Using a person centered approach, our Vocational Training Program identifies the strengths and needs of our individuals looking for employment, and strives to develop those skills so our participants can successfully enter the workforce and sustain employment. While some activities do take place on site, our Vocational Training Program utilizes community engagement as often as possible.
Our Vocational Training Program is designed to prepare our individuals for employment through meaningful and individualized activities such as:
Resume writing
Job Exploration
Paid Work Experience
Volunteer Experience
Interviewing skills
Professional Communication
Grooming and proper work attire
Self-advocacy on the job
Community and transportation safety
Independent living skills
